Dave Mitchell Retires From Openreach after 50 Years service

Dave Mitchell branch secretary of the North East Branch has retired from Openreach after 50 years.

Dave was a very active member of the CWU both Locally and Nationally, as you can see from his history below.

Dave who retired from Openreach on the 31st December 2017, has not given up work completely  he will continue is work for the CWU both Locally and Nationally.

Dave is currently the branch secretary Locally and SOC member Nationally

You will also notice at the bottom Dave has attended every conference since 1978 and will be attending this year. This could be a record for the most conferences attended.

The Officers of the branch would like to thank Dave for all his years of devotion to the branch and members of the North East and wish him well in his retirement.
